LeftOvers? What Do You Do With Yours?

Published by deanew at 1:27 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

After four days of turkey, dressing, and ham I am so over the holiday tradtional meals, but know I am up to my eyeballs in leftovers.  What do you do with yours?  Here are some of the ideas that I have come up with.

For the Turkey:  I will be making some home made turkey pot pies.  These will be super easy.  Just get a premade pie crust, mix a can of Veg All and a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup with about 1/2 - 1 cup diced turkey and put it in the crust.  Add the top curst and throw it in the oven.  If you have lots of leftovers, these can be frozen.

I will also make some pasta, throw in a few peas and some turkey!  Again Super Easy!

With the ham, I like to do different breakfasts and pastrys.  One of my families favorite is a mixture of brocolli, cream of mushroom soup, a little cheese, and some diced ham.  I use crescent rolls, I put one on the bottom and then add a spoon full of the mixture and then put another crescent on top and crease the edges together and bake.

I also like to put the ham in omelets and in eggs bakes.  They are so easy, can you tell I like easy?

So this is what I’m doing with my leftovers, what are you doing with yours?
